This is the PSRA Guard refresher course under the Private Security Officer Level 1 course. It is a 40 hrs course delivered over 5 days of 8 hours each. This is for Guards who are already trained at entry-level, have experience and are on the job.
This is the approved and released Private Security Regulatory Authority entry level training for guards. It is a 330hr course with 170 hrs in class training and a 160 hrs attachment training. We deliver this course in 17 days of 10hrs each at school and 14 days attachment (12hr shifts) in the field.

The Highfield Level 3 Certificate for Working as a Close Protection Operative within the Private Security Industry is ideal for anyone wishing to work as a Close Protection Operative as it provides them with the necessary skills and knowledge to apply for a Kenyan PSRA and the UK SIA licence. This qualification is based on the SIAs ‘Specifications for Learning and Qualifications for Close Protection Operatives.' How long will it take? This qualification must be undertaken over a minimum of 12-days. The SIA stipulate 139.5-hours as minimum contact time (MCT).
